Toilet & Clothes Washer Rebates : Marina Coast Water District

High-efficiency Toilets & Urinals

Marina Coast Water District offers a rebate when customers retrofit to lower flow, high-efficiency (HET) or ultra-high efficiency (UHET) toilets.

The per-toilet rebate increases per toilet when all toilets under a customer's accounts are retrofitted.
Similarly, the per-urinal rebate increases per urinal when all urinals are retrofitted.

All HET and UHET toilets must be EPA WaterSense labeled and/or Maximum Performance Tested (MaP) Premium-rated toilets. Before shopping, use the links below to find qualifying toilet models.

Rebate Amounts

WaterSense and MaP Premium-Rated UHET's (1.1 gpf or less)	$100 - $200	Rebate equal to the net purchase price, up to $100. Rebate equal to the net purchase price, up to $200 for each new UHET toilet when both of the following conditions apply: the new toilet(s) is/are MaP Premium-Rated, and it's the only UHET at the account, or all the toilets at the account are now HET's or UHET's
Water-free Urinals	$200 - $300	Rebate equal to the net purchase price, up to $200. Rebate equal to the net purchase price, up to $300 for each new urinal when all the urinals at the account are now water-free, or when it's the only water-free urinal at the account.

the new toilet(s) is/are MaP Premium-Rated, and
it's the only UHET at the account, or all the toilets at the account are now HET's or UHET's

Water-free Urinals

$200 - $300

Rebate equal to the net purchase price, up to $200.

Rebate equal to the net purchase price, up to $300 for each new urinal when all the urinals at the account are now water-free, or when it's the only water-free urinal at the account.

Receiving Your Rebate

Once you've installed your high efficiency toilet(s) and urinal(s), to receive your rebate:

Save your original purchase receipt. (Note: The District will only accept receipts less than one year old.)
Pick up or download and fill out the form: Printable PDF or Interactive (Fillable) PDF.

High-efficiency Clothes Washers

Clothes washer rebates are available when purchasing an ENERGYSTAR rated clothes washer. Rebate amounts are based upon the machines water efficiency or Water Factor (gallons of water per cubic foot. of laundry cleaned). The most water efficient machines receive a higher rebate amount, as shown in the table below.
