Jan Shriner
Vice President
Jan is a trained biologist and continues to enjoy a lengthy career in outdoor education that has included both private and public sector roles.
Jan was first elected to the MCWD Board in 2010. Her current term ends in 2026.
Brad Imamura
Director
Brad retired from the Santa Clara Valley Water District. He has worked for the City of San Jose and the County of Santa Clara. Brad is also a retired Registered Environmental Health Specialist having worked at the Public Health Department in Santa Clara County. He is married with two sons and two grandsons. His hobbies include hiking and biking around the Monterey Bay Area and spending time with his family. Brad was first elected to the MCWD Board in November 2022. His current term on the District Board ends in 2026.
Thomas Moore, Ph.D., Industrial Engineering
Director
Since his arrival in Marina in 1989, Tom has been a professor in various capacities at the Naval Postgraduate, MIIS and the Naval War College. He also spent 27 years in the Engineer Corps of the U.S. Army and Army Reserve and retired as a full Colonel. Besides serving on the MCWD Board, he represents MCWD on the Board of Directors of Monterey One Water. Tom also has considerable experience in local government, having served six years on the Marina Planning Commission, several years on Monterey County LAFCO and on various local government committees.
Stacey Smith
Director
Stacey is currently a commercial finance administrator going into her twenty-eighth year as a business owner and entrepreneur. She has worked for numerous large commercial construction companies throughout California as well as served on construction Boards and landscape committees. She has extensive training and education in horticulture, landscape, and agriculture. Her hobbies include hiking, fishing, and road trips. Stacey was first elected to the MCWD Board in November 2024. Her current term on the District Board ends in 2028.
